I was able to get some very nice directv deals for installation and rent, and it came in just in time for my new HDTV. I was able to but the television a few days ago and now, with directv as my provider, I can pretty much say that I will be able to have some nice relaxation watching my favorite shows in high definition. The technicians will be coming in a couple of days for the installation of the dish and I just can’t wait for them to start the work.

One thing I am a little worried though is that once the directv people comes in, I am not sure where they would be installing the dish. I would highly appreciate it if they put it in my backyard and maybe just install a pole in there, but of course, if signals are not available on that spot, they might end up installing the dish on my roof, drilling holes on it and through the ceiling. My main dilemma here is that it might cause some minor damage on my roof that could cause leaks or some other things. I think I should do something about it before they do the installation ASAP. –>

I have got to make room for my new television in the living room right now that I bought just a few days ago. It seems to be bigger than what I thought and I’m having some problems with Direct TV since I want them to install the dish satellite, but then again, the TV is not yet done. I want to make sure that my new HDTV will be placed in the living room first before I let the DirecTV people install their stuff. Although at least, the good thing is that Directtv.com is always accessible and I could always contact them anytime I want via their customer service line so it shouldn’t really be a big deal. My only dilemma is the fact that the error came on my part for not checking my measurements properly and I couldn’t yell at anyone but me. I really hate it when I’m wrong! –>

I am having some major changes within my house as I try to have a major makeover of the whole place. I finally got the money from my incentives that I have been waiting for over a month and now that I have it, I will start with my project of making sure that my house will be better than ever before. In line with this I’m planning to buy new living room furniture - perhaps those modern furniture designs. There is this site which I visited last night which has nice and good looking living room and bedroom furniture collection. I’m also planning to put my very own personal gym at the back, complete with a gym rope and everything. I found the inspiration to have my own body building place ever since I stopped my membership from our company’s gym last December due to some miscommunication between the gym and my company. Anyway, going back, I guess I would need to order some twisted rope as well for the gym rope and for the other weightlifting machines. I would also need to buy some elastic shock cord just in case I might need them for my gym. I’m also planning to change my kitchen entirely so I could remove the wall from the living room, and just replace it with a counter. That way, I’ll be able to see the living room while cooking, which I think is good if I have some guests. –>

Gardening is a kind of hobby that is rewarding and fun. You don’t really need to sweat unlike other sports activity. Gardening also doesn’t entail high cost especially if you are doing it right. In our house aside from our garden, there are also places outside the wall which are landscaped. You should also think that there should also be plants located outside of your walls. To add up some appeal, you could add mailbox posts or address plaques in your front gate or in your porch. You could compare prices and see which best fits the design of your home.

Gardening advice is not complete without you being introduced to some elements of gardening. This is useful if you want a garden that is truly admirable. The soil is a very crucial element. It can determine your gardening success. The next things to consider are the plants that you want to take care. It is best to learn about the climate in your area because this is your basis for the plants that could grow in your garden.

I decided to add some Tiki Thatch in my backyard for the roof of my outdoor bench to give it a really nice, tropical look. I’m also planning to place a tiki bar thatch in there so it would be easier when we have a party or any gathering since most of my friends like cocktails and hard drinks. I really love the tropical look because for me, it reminds me of the only time when I went to Marquesas for a vacation. The tropical look makes me feel serenity and peaceful. With this look, at least, I’ll be able to reminisce the time, especially in a Sunday noon when my kids are asleep and I am just lying around in my recliner, looking at the two coconut trees in my backyard and the outdoor bench with the tiki thatch roof. It should also make me popular with my friends because a lot of them still has the Marquesas hangover and they also want to get something like what I did to my backyard, but I was the only one that was able to do it. and once I got my tiki bar, everything should already be perfect and I’ll have my mini oasis looking backyard. –>

I need some pneumatic tools, nailers and staplers right now so I could start working on some parts of my house. It is already old and needs a lot of improvement so we could be there safely. I need to actually do a complete renovation of the house, but since I don’t have enough money, I do things one step at a time. I already fixed the roof and the attic since those are the ones that I think should be taken care of first. The next one would be the bedrooms. I’ll be fixing the ceilings and a few parts to make sure that everything is sturdier. Then after that I’ll go ahead and do the living room since that is where I accept guests of course. The house has been standing for quite some time now. It was actually a house that was built by my grandfather and it was given to me by my father when he was able to buy his ranch in the countryside. Now, I want to make sure that the house that my grandfather built will be better than ever and would be like brand new. I just need a few more months though so I could do a complete renovation. –>

I’m doing some refurbishment inside the house, but due to lack of time to concentrate, I do it one step at a time. For now, I’m just doing the minor changes inside the house. I can’t have the major ones started just yet because I won’t be able to keep an eye on them and I might end up risking money… major changes like removing some walls, changing fixtures and replacing large appliances. For now, I’m doing the little things like planning which lights to change, paints that I should have, bedroom furniture and of course, the rugs that I need to buy. I’m thinking though which would be better for the house… do I buy some round area rugs or do I take me fiancé’s suggestion and buy some contemporary area rugs? I’m not sure of what to get but I have done my research already and I couldn’t figure out which do I want more. I don’t want to buy both because of uniformity purposes and of course, budget constraints. I have to make sure that what I’ll be choosing is final, otherwise I might overspend my money and end up having more expenses. I think I have to talk to my fiancé more about it so we could buy one already. –>

I am trying to see how I could make our own mini playground in the backyard because I am feeling a little sorry for the kids that every time they go to the park, they can’t get in one of those play area, especially in the swings, because there are too many other children playing in there, not to mention when they get bullied by some other big kids in there. I am looking at a possibility of putting a tire swing in one of the trees in the backyard, although of course, I have to make sure that the trunk that I will be using is strong enough to carry anyone’s weight. I am also planning to but some slides for them, similar to the ones that they have in the city playgrounds so they won’t miss that place much and they can invite some of their friends over the house, instead of going outside. I am also trying to see if it is possible to put a sandbox in there, although my wife said it might get messy inside the house if we put a sandbox in the backyard, especially when it rains. We all know that kids love to play in the mud, but of course, we don’t want them doing that too often since for one thing, it may be bad for their health and second, it is really hard to remove stains from their clothes when they come in all dirty. I guess for now I have to go back to planning to see what else I could put in my backyard.
